How to Paint Planes

1ST:>open your CFS1 folder located in: Program files/Microsoft Games/
/Combat Flight Sim. 1 Now open the aircraft folder and then find the plane you would like to repaint.Highlight it and then click on top task bar and copy the planes folder to your desktop or in a folder you could make just for repaints also.
2nd>Go the copied plane folder you just copied and open it/then open texture folder/there should be between 3-7 files in this folder.
You want to paint the ones that look like outside of plane only.
3rd> Open each file one at a time with your paint program or photo program, but
be careful to always save your planes texture files as BMP only.(I mostly use Paint)
4th>This is a must or you might copy over your stock plane..open your planes folder/find file named aircraft and open with notepad. After the words Title=
type the new name of your plane, but never change anything else in this file or you will mess up plane! Now just copy or move your plane to CFS1 aircraft folder and thats it. ~S~
